RIAU - DCR Program is part of BPMIGAS-PT CPI community development program in education. The program, which presents undergraduate scholarships, highlights PT CPI's concerns to improving human resources quality in Riau province. Some 395 students have benefited from the program since its launch in 2001. Based on data from the DCR CPI Team, Riau students that took part in the program show academic achievements. Most of them have completed their studies in Indonesia's outstanding universities and work in national and multinational companies, including PT. CPI. DCR alumni is expected to help build the province.
 
The 2008 DCR Program is in its eighth year and will be followed by 3rd grade students in senior high schools in 11 regencies/cities in Riau, who will be selected to 55 students. PT CPI entrusts the selection process to the respective city/regency education agency. The selection will take place on March 13, 2008, comprising Attitude Test and an interview. Winners will be announced on the inauguration on March 13, 2008 at RCC Main Hall Rumbai.
 
The DCR scholarship awardees are divided in four categories:

• First category, three students with scholarships of Rp. 12,000,000/year and one computer and one printer.
• Second category, five students with scholarships of Rp. 9,000,000/year and one computer.
• Third category, seven students with scholarships of Rp. 8,000,000/year.
• Fourth category, fifty students with scholarships of Rp. 5,000,000/year.
