JAKARTA - Production sharing contractor Vico Indonesia may produce 500 MMSCFD of coal bed methane gas from Sanga Sanga in East Kalimantan. "The production of the unconventional gas may reach 500 MMSCFD," he said, adding that the first drop of CBM may commence in 2015 or 2016.
 
Vico had earlier estimated that Sanga Sanga may have 10 tcf of CBM resources. The figure is derived from actual data from 800 conventional wells, seismic surveys and the block's geological position. ***
