JAKARTA - Pertamina EP will work with Australia's Sydney Gas and Dutch's Shell to develop coal bed methane in South Sumatra and Jambi provinces, Pertamina EP President Tri Siwindono said at the sidelines of IndoCBM Conference and Exhibition in Jakarta on Wednesday (06/25).

"We are in talks. Maybe we'll cooperate with Shell on areas in South Sumatra and Jambi and with Sydney Gas on another area in South Sumatra," Tri Siwindono said.

Tri said the venture may be in the form of a consortium. Pertamina expects to get a CBM concession from the government this year. ***
