BPMIGAS-PSCs ARE SUCESSFULLY FOLLOW THE INDONESIA WEEK 2009 IN BEIJING, CHINA

Jakarta, 25/6/09 - BPMIGAS-PSC’s (Petrochina, CNOOC, CITIC and Pertamina EP) are successfully follow the exhibition and Business Forum which the title is "Indonesia Week 2009" in Beijing, China, 17-22 June 2009. The exhibition and Business Forum are initiated by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Beijing, China. It was held coinciding with the celebration of the 59 years diplomatic relations between RI-RRT.

The "Indonesia Week 2009" is an initiative to fill the strategic partnership between RI-RRT and to increase the intensity of investment promotion, trade and tourism of Indonesia. The theme of this event is "Discover Indonesia", the event shows the commodity trade, tourism and investment potential, it is expected that participants will have a direct access to the Prospective buyers and investors in China.

In addition to the exhibition in Wangfujing Street, the city of Beijing, the "Indonesia Week 2009" is also filled with the Business Forum at the Westin Chaoyang Hotel and Indonesian Food Festival at the Grand Millennium Hotel and The Exhibition of Indonesian Arts in the exhibition arena.

Through the Business Forum which is designed to facilitate the District Government, businessmen and the Board of Business in Indonesia to meet directly with the investors and business counterpart in the RRT, it has acquired several business agreements related to the investment in Indonesia, which is expected to be immediately realized in the near future. The Indonesian embassy in Beijing will continue to facilitate the business communication and investment through bilateral relations between the two countries, including the upstream oil and gas industrial sector.
