THE DELIVERY OF HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE IN WEST

Jakarta - BPMIGAS, DESDM, and PSCs are delivering the assistance of 2 ambulances for the victims of West Papua’s earthquake. The two ambulances with Rp. 405 million of total value are given by the Head of BPMIGAS Representative Japalu Area, Hamdi Zainal and received by the Vice Governor of West Papua, Drs. Rahimin Katjong (16 / 7) in Manokwari. The delivery of assistance is coincident with the 7th anniversary of BPMIGAS.

The Head of BPMIGAS R. Priyono at the ceremony of 7th anniversary of BPMIGAS stressed that the 2 ambulances which submitted by BPMIGAS-PSC’s are form of further assistance in order to help the victims of the earthquake in West Papua. The total value of assistance is Rp. 1.5 billion.

"The delivery of 2 ambulances is a part of assistance that provided by BPMIGAS, DESDM, and PSC’s in order to help the victims in the Province of West Papua, the assistances are expected to improve the health of community in West Papua." Said, R.Priyono.

The assistance of 2 ambulances is divided to the two regions, 1 ambulance is submitted to the government of Manokwari Regency and 1 unit is submitted to Sorong Regency. The ambulance which submitted is Mitshubisi L 300, this ambulance is equipped with the standard health equipment and double blower AC.
