HEAD OF BPMIGAS

R. Priyono, is graduated as a geological engineer from the Institute of Bandung Technology in year 1976. Born in Pati – central Java, September 12, 1956. Priyono began his career at the Directorate General of Oil and Gas (DGOG), The Department of Energy and Mineral Resources (DEMR) as exploration and exploitation instrument technology staff of the Directorate Oil and Gas Business Development.

During his career at DGOG, Priyono has an extensive and diversed experiences, begining with the matters of human resources and Indonesianization program during his appointment as the section head of Indonesianization program and he was later on appointed as head of exploration, head of the petroleum working area management, and finally as director for the Oil and Gas upstream business Development program.

In April 29, 2008, R. Priyono was inaugurated by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Purnomo Yusgiantoro, to serve as the third head of BPMIGAS based on the fit and proper test by the Commission VII DPR Republic of Indonesia and President Decree No.20/P Year 2008 dated April 16th 2008.

In leading BPMIGAS, R. Priyono has a main vision which focuses on increasing oil and gas production, decreasing a reasonable cost recovery, and simplifying the existing institution beaurocracy.

VICE CHAIRMAN OF BPMIGAS

Abdul Muin was born in a village nearby Palembang, Ogan Komering Ulu District on 15 March 1949. This second child of six children admitted he coincidentally joined the oil and gas field, for at first he wanted to be a civil engineer.

After achieving his bachelor of oil petroleum degree at PTPN Veteran, Yogyakarta, he was interested in joining petroleum geology engineering education at LSPG Cepu. It was a “try-out” cooperative program between Indonesia and France.  This thing brought him to having his carrier at Lemigas. In 1981-1985 he got the chance to continue his studies until he earned his doctoral degree in France.

He broadened his international experience when he was chosen to represent Indonesia working in OPEC as Upstream Oil Industry Analyst in 1994-2002. Since then, many international and national forums have involved him in their activities.

Starting from year 2002, Abdul Muin has joined BPMIGAS.

DEPUTY OF PLANNING


Since January 2006, Achmad Luthfi has been positioned as the head of Planning Deputy. Previously, since 2003, he was the head of Exploration Division in BPMIGAS. After finishing his studies from Instutute of Technology, Bandung (ITB) majoring General Geology Engineering in 1980, he joined with Pertamina. Achmad Luthfi was born in Mojokerto on March 14th 1955.

He has held many technical positions. However, in 1996, Luthfi still had the chance to finish his post graduate studies in Maastricht – Netherlands and earned his Master of Business Admin degree.

DEPUTY OF OPERATION


After occupying as Head of Exploitation and Head of Evaluation and Development Plan for 4 (four) years, Dodi Hidayat who was born in Bandung on 4 June 1952, was finally inaugurated as the Deputy of Operation on Wednesday, 18 January 2006.

As soon as he finished his studies from Institute of Technology, Bandung (ITB) majoring in Petroleum Engineering in 1976, he joined with Pertamina’s  Oil Contractors Coordinating and Management Body (BPPKA).

DEPUTY OF FINANCIAL, ECONOMIC AND MARKETING


After finishing his study from Institue of Technology, Bandung (ITB), majoring petroleum in 1977, Eddy Purwanto started his career as a field engineer in Directorate of Exploration and Production Pertamina (Government state own company), Unit I in Pangkalan Brandan, North Sumatera.

He continue his study at University of Souther California (USC) in 1995-1997, and Marshal Business School, Los Angeles, USA in 1996, and he was also active in many professional organization such as IATMI (Indonesian Petroleum Engineer Organization) and IPA (Indonesian Petroleum Association).

In his career in the Government state own company, he was assigned to work in Balikpapan, than Aceh, and Jakarta in 1990. During his duty in Jakarta, afater of 2 sons accept many strategy tasks as a liaison officer Pertamina-Jolco/Inoco in 1990-1994. Leader of Exploration Production Pertamina Negosiasion, 1992-1994 and secretary of Ascope National Commitee of Indonesia in 2000-2002.

DEPUTY OF GENERAL AFFAIRS

Based on Decree of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No.  1571 K/73/MEM/2007 on 2 April 2007, Drs. Hardiono M.Comm was inaugurated as the Head of General Affair Deputy BPMIGAS. He who was born in Pekalongan on 11 March 1958 is well-known in BPMIGAS for before he was the Head of Internal Division.

After finishing his studies in Diponegoro University majoring Company Economics in 1983, Hardiono walked on his career at the Energy and Mineral Resources Department. Eventhough he was busy with his career, he still could achieve his post-graduate master degree (Master of Commerce in Management) at Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Western Australia in 1993.
